Taligent OS
I was an interaction designer on a multidisciplinary UI team designing a new object-oriented, cross-platform operating system. I joined the project early, when it was still an internal Apple project (“Pink”), and was involved in exploring new visual and interaction paradigms for the desktop metaphor. The UI team grew to include interaction designers, visual designers, and usability specialists. The project was spun out in 1992 as an Apple-IBM joint venture, Taligent Inc. and was absorbed into IBM in 1996.
