Open Text Web Experience Management 8.0
I am currently the lead designer/UE architect for Open Text's Web Experience Management application (formerly Vignette Content Management V8). I was responsible for designing an entirely new, modernized content management user experience which is focused on the needs of business users who create and manage content and rich media for very large, commercial web sites.
In this position I work collaboratively with the developers, other UE designers, user researchers, and product managers using an Agile development process, and have also coordinated and collaborated with external resources providing visual design and usability studies.

Design Process and Artifacts
I sometimes write use cases to make sure requirements details are well understood (this is especially useful for Agile user stories). I've developed a very simple table format for writing sets of related use cases.

The majority of my design work mainly involves creating wire frames, mockups and diagrams in Visio. I often explore interaction design issues by creating simple clickable HTML mockups that can be viewed in a browser. I also produce high-fidelity visuals and mockups in Photoshop, and interactive prototypes in HTML, CSS and javascript.
